The hotel is very close to Grand Street subway station which makes it ideal to get away quickly from the area. Although the hotel seems clean the smell of 'herbal' cigarettes wafting through the hotel was off putting. The room was extremely small and very cold, and the electric wall heater was very noisy. All in all it was cheap...

The Windsor Hotel is a 2 star hotel, so I wasn't expecting much. The room was big enough for 2 people with a safe and a good size bed (which was comfy enough for a hotel bed). The shower was no problem, although the tap started to leak at one point but that was sorted out by the Hotel quickly....

Travelling to NYC in Spring or Fall is an expesive business! During these popular months hotel proces in Manhattan go crazy, so any hotel that is clean, safe and less than $200 a night must be good value. We stayed 3 nights at the Windsor. On the first night we were on the ground floor and it was very noisy....

This place is a great price, great location, clean room and safe neighborhood. Free wi fi really came in handy. Nothing fancy but will do if you are trying to get a good price on hotel while in the city. The only problem was we had a window that faced the club across the street. It was very loud during...

We would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend. It is relatively affordable (by New York standards at least), has excellent subway access, and staff was very friendly. Somehow our bed had 2 box springs instead of a boxspring and mattress. Staff were apologetic and gave us a new (better) room right away. The new mattress was very firm, but...

This place is nothing fancy, but is in a great location in Chinatown and the subway is 100 yards from the front door. Clearly a 2 star property in terms of services (of lack there of). However, room was very clean, the 1 person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, and all of the fixtures were in...

We got this place for $130 a night through quikbook. What a smoking hot deal!!! We figured we saved enough to buy an extra 7 pairs of shoes. My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. Like the others have said before, the location is great. We were steps away from the Grand Street metro station. After...

The Windsor Hotel is a good place to stay, as long as you accept that it is not exactly what it advertises itself to be. The safes in the room don't work (the kid at the counter offered to hold on to my valuables. Thanks but no thanks) and the wireless was down, but the hotel is clean, you don't...

well i read some of the reviews on here and nearly didnt stay here, what a mistake that would have been. If you want a luxurios hotel, bedroom and bathroom then DONT stay here. If you want a perfectly fine room, for the price, its great. You are in a great area i think, chinatown, little italy, greenwich a bit...

The hotel says that it was completely renovated in late 2009. When we stayed in early 2010, our room was very clean, newly decorated and newly furnished. The common parts of the hotel, even the back stairs, were also clean and newly painted. The rooms are small but excellent value and very well located if you want to be in...
