I randomly got to this hotel and was very pleasantly surprised. In my previous visit I stayed in the Sofitel and the one before in the Waldorf Astoria. The room at the Lombardy is a lot better than both hotels. The other hotels have restaurants and some services that the Lombardy misses, but it's Manhattan, I don't really need a...

I was in Lombardy from April 13 to April 22.
In this time the hotel was perfect.
All the staff is very friendly, helpful and I didnt have any trouble like the stay in September that I described here.

Condo/Hotel where the owners' rooms/aprartments are rented when they are not there. Huge rooms for the City, expecially the suites which are fabulous apartments with balconies. Quietest hotel I have ever been in in New York. Faced the rear and never heard a siren all week.

Very well kept property with a convenient, quiet location. Close to the subway, but definitely within walking distance of the heart of the city. Would definitely stay at this property again!

We stayed at the Lombardy Hotel on March 23rd. We requested a room with two queen beds and assumed this property met the standards of other Preferred Hotels we have stayed at throughout the years. Unfortunately it was not. To say our room was disappointing is an understatement; a dump is a more appropriate description. We were given a room...

I have stayed in many rooms at the Lombardy and I am still a fan, but I was disspointed in the studio I stayed in this last time.
The bathroom door paint was mostly chipped off and the wood was all decayed at the bottom of the bathroom sink.
Additionally, the a/c, though funcioning looked really beaten up and about...

The Lombardy is a charming hotel with a lot of personality in a great location in Midtown (no view, though). It's in a perfect location for shopping. The room was surprisingly large for NYC and very clean. There was even a mini-fridge and microwave, and plenty of closet space. The hotel staff was polite and helpful when needed. The room...

Booked a room before the recent snow storm last minute, got a suite with AAA rate for $285/night. When i got there the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. This is a "residential" hotel where there are several rooms that are like apartments and has all the old NY charm including an elevator operator. When I got to my room...

Stayed at the Lombardy for one night, very nice place for the price. Reasonable $250 in NY on the upper East side. They upgraded me to a suite, which ended up being a huge living room complete with an entire wall of books, wrap around couch and an little kitchenette. And after multiple hotels that charge for internet, it was...

I stay at The Lombardy when I travel to NYC for work. This is an amazing place with superb value. Many rooms are HUGE. My review is for the last 4 months. I have had multiple stays - from studios to a 920 sq ft one bedroom apartment. All have been clean, impeccably decorated and have kitchen facilities. The staff...
