We ordered the Chef's tasting menu including wine pairing. Altogether the cooking was little ispirational and the speed with which the food was served was too quick. Altogether we spent less than 2 hours in the restuarant for a 8 course meal. The wines were ok, not spectacular, and no refills are given. A 'glass' of wine is in fact...

What a treat....such delicous food! Best service we have ever received - ever! Dining here is a must. My only regret is not ordering an extra course with lunch. Make reservations ASAP, we made our lunch reservations one month prior and there wasn't much else available!

It's not often that the hype meets reality but Le Bernardin is an exception. One of the dinning highlights from our recent trip to NYC. We ordered the Chef's Tasting Menu for lunch @ $190 per. The sommelier (there were 2 of them!) gave us her thoughts on a 2009 JJ Christoffel Spatlese which I had picked to go with...

The tasting menu is good, very well cooked and presented seafood with nice wine pairings. The food was OK, not knock your socks off, and the service was somewat less than OK.The wine choice was superb, best I have seen by the glass for some time.

Just got finished with a meal at the highly touted Le Bernardin..... Overall the experience was satisfactory. The food was good, but not the best I've ever had, the service was excellent, but again not the best I've ever had. I enjoyed the ambience, the atmosphere was not overly pretentious as some restaurants in the calibre are. Unfortunately, there was...

As the world is going to end on May 21st, ;) , arrived for an early dinner before our Broadway play on Friday the 13th, and were treated like royalty. Le Bernardin is lovely with gorgeous flowers and a warm, pleasant atmosphere. (Unlike the morgue at The London!) Each course, from the menu's "simply raw", "barely touched", and "lightly cooked",...

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch particularly the octopus and salmon with foie gras appetizers. Staff was superb! But I do have a couple of complaints, the menu lists three sections and we were not told until we ordered that you only choose from two sections as desert is included. The website has the same menu. I think this is a bit...

Three star Michelin food at its very best. Opted for the fantastic value $70 lunch menu - three perfect courses. Staff and service were excellent. A beautiful room with truly world class food.

I have wanted to dine at Le Bernardin for years, and finally got my chance last month. My wife and I were impresssed with the ambiance and the service. We were slightly less impressed with the food. The presentations in their fixed price selections we ordered were very good, however the tastes were somewhat less than what I had expected...

Very good - for the quality lunch is a steal. I consider myself a foodie to some extent and we visited several Michelin starred restaurants on the trip and this was the best overall.
