This was a "Mystery hotel" offered by Expedia. (Only knew the area and stars before I paid) Only 80$/Night. One Queen nonsmoking Included: Continental Breakfast, Free Wireless Internet. Breakfast on plastic plates OK for that price. V. Small room, but quit area. Even found free street parking in the snowstorm...

We all know we get this hotel due to the price on Hotwire or Priceline. We know that it's in a great neighborhood, safe, close to restaurants and blocks from two subway stations and in the vicinity of the Amer Museum of Natural History. Those are the good points. The room was SMALL and tight. Bathroom smaller. We only slept...

It upsets me to read reviews by people who are entirely negative about a hotel. I think i can also say i've never been entirely positive about a hotel either. Everywhere you stay you'll find the good and the bad.
The rooms in this hotel are small, but the hotel is in New York City - one of the most...

We stayed over Easter weekend 2011 as we were in town for a wedding. We had a king bed room with a roll-away. Though the rooms are smaller, the beds were comfortable, the room was very clean, the staff could not have been more helpful. Everything within walking distance, museums, restaurants, churches, Central Park, and cabs to to be had...

Our standard room was way too small to contemplate doing any work in but would be fine if you literally just wanted to sleep in your room. The larger rooms were great and still offered very good value. The breakfast is included and is a 'value' affair but everything's there if you can get a place at a table. It's...

Unless you're so frugal that you don't mind inflicting pain on your own soul just to save a $20, if you're lucky, this is not a place to stay. We were put in a room that had a 5.5x4 feet bed. The room was so tiny that we could not even find somewhere to put shoes, let alone bags. You...

For the money this place costs to stay you shouldn't expect more than a safe, clean place to sleep and shower. After all, what more do you want in NYC? No point going to the city if you're staying in your hotel room more than necessary! Perfect for what we needed, amazing location right next to Central Park and easy...

I stay here whenever I come to NYC. It's an amazing deal. Sure, the rooms aren't huge. Yes they're decorated in tones of brown and gold. But the rooms are clean, the location is primo, and the really friendly staff works their butts off to make it a terrific experience.... AND for under $200 a night, which is an impossible...

I was there for spring break March 2011, I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff was great, they went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome! Thomas was especially fantastic! There was also continental breakfast included. The only complaint i had was the view from my room was horrible I was looking at a brick...

This hotel is a hidden gem in my opinion. Ok, the rooms are small and basic, BUT people need to realise that you get what you pay for. If you plan to spend that much time in your hotel room whilst in NYC, why bother going!? The rooms and facilities were clean, staff were very helpful and location superb. If...
