At Soho Grand, the room was small --even by New York standards- but it was very well equipped: good lighting, wardrobe/armoire for clothing, a safe, and a comfortable bed with good (cotton - not "blended" with polyester !) linens. Likewise, the bathroom was small, but very well equipped, with both built-in shelves, and a floor unit with shelves for storage....

For such a price, it can be good !!! No particular problem with this hotel : spacious rooms, confortable beds, helpfull staff, close to subway (A, C, E lines, 7 minutes to Time Square), well situated in Soho (shops, Brodway, ...) 1h30 from JFK Airport by subway (no change), but I guess we are the only customers of this hotel...

From the cold greeting at reception to the sarcastic concierge, this hotel was the least friendly hotel we have ever stayed in. Some of the hotel employees seem to think that being aloof/cold to guests is acceptable. It's a pity because it is in a decent location but it's way too cool for school.
