It looked anthentic Japanese restaurant, but the food was not. Oyako-don was very salty. Any restaurant in Tokyo would not serve such food. No Japanese customer when I was there at lunch.

I was actually enjoying my seared tuna, tempura and beef satay (I had a bento box) when suddenly a little brown cockroach surfaced on a tempura shrimp. I quickly lifted my bento box, and right away, the restaurant's receptionist came over and took the box/tray away....

I went to Hakata for sushi on a recent trip to manhattan. It was fresh, the portions were large, and the prices were reasonable for the area. Service was very good and it was no problem getting seated quickly. It's in the theater district so lots of diners were trying to leave at around 7:30 - 7:45. The only problem...
