Just prior to shopping at Bloomingdales, we stumbled onto Mon Petit Cafe as we looked for a nice place to eat breakfast. What a pleasant experience it was. Love the steak au poivre; it's like being in a wonderful local bistro in Paris; always delicious but sometimes the specials can be a little skimpy in serving size. Cool staff, but you can wait awhile between courses and/or getting the check if they're busy

We passed this small restaurant on Lexington on a freezing, dark, Christmas eve. The early bird special was $29.95 each for soup or salad, any main course including the specials plus dessert. The food was authentic, tasty, plentiful and presented very nicely. The early bird special finishes at 630pm.

The ambience in this intimate little French Bistro was good but our meal was very disappointing. We had steak au poivre which was tough and dry and overpriced.

Lovely French cafe. Light and airy (inside or outside seating), food delicious and the staff friendly and accommodating. A wonderful respite in a busy day and the brunch was terrific. Reasonable and comfortable. We went back two times in one weekend.

A cute place and when the owner's daughter is on site, it really has energy. Good hangar steak but the French fries have slipped quite a bit. In the past, the fries were worth the visit. In my area (mid-town east), definitely one of the better brunch places to go (good for two people). Great brunch menu!
