Jalapeno is actually Jalapena (feminine form of the delicious hot pepper). Stopped in for a drink one day with a friend. Ended up having two margaritas each they were so good. Had some bar food that was delicious and left thinking "I'm coming back to this place with my wife." Friendly staff, comfortable surroundings, nice feel.

Always on the lookout for great neighborhood restaurants(especially Mexican and Chinese(not yet found)). This place ,if quality maintains ,will be a true winner. FRESH ingredients are,clearly ,used. The chunky Guac. and freshly made chips are delicious. Chili Rell.was spicy and Carne Asada was excellent. Their Mole sauce is excellent. About the best we ever tasted. For certain try the Platanos.....

had a great time on my trip to this new restaurant had a great time with friends we tried a bunch of tequila-generous tastes from the manager we settled on the topshelf-great-love that they only use fresh lime juice the carnitas entree were seriously amazing i swear by the mexican truffle quesadillas (the waiter told us to try the petite...
