I heard all the hype about Bobo's in the 15 yrs I lived here. I finally tried them out last month. I sat down and the waitress wanted me to order and I asked for a menu. She rudely and abruptly pointed to the wall. I ordered a triple cheeseburger with fries and a coke. I got a tiny burger...

Have been wanting to go here for years but everytime we thought about it they were allready closed for the day. Well today was our lucky day. The BEST BEST hamburger I have had. Just the right greasyness to make it good. Wonderful onionrings, and the worlds best apple pie!!!! Can't wait to make it back there again.

One of Topeka's finest, oldest, and LAST drive-in burger joints. This thing's been around since the 50's - and looks it. There is still REAL carhop service (a REAL person takes your order under the awning outside) and serves your food on a REAL tray that hooks to your partially rolled-up window. Okay! There's three reason to hit Bobo's. One...

Although I no longer live in Toeka, I grew up there, and whenever I return I go straight to Bobo's--for the steakburgers, onion rings, chili dogs, and pie! Nothing else compares! Once I even hand-carried an apple pie on the plane back to Olympia, WA for my boss!!

My family eats here every time we go to Topeka. Their steakburgers are so good I haven't ordered anything else. They also have good shakes and pie.

Recently stopped by Bobo's during a spring break road trip thru Kansas. I found it on FoodNetwork's DDD. It's a throwack to the '50s with poor parking but lot's of atmosphere. My wife and two kids sat at the counter where is was quite cramped. (maybe i'm just getting too fat!) We enjoyed the cheeseburgers with generous amounts of cheese....

This local burger joint has been around for quite some time. The food is okay, but nothing special. Service is okay, unless you come near closing, then it is horrible. Worth going to once. If you are not there for the nostalgia of your earlier years, then probably not worth going to often

I'm shocked this is number 3 on the list. Average in every aspect. Horrible location. Apple pie is astoundingly below average for all the talk of being so "wonderful." Price is okay and burgers are better than chain fast food. This doesn't deserve number 3 rating whatsoever.

I found myself back in Topeka for another business trip and used Trip Advisor for a dinner recommendation. Lo and behold, that's how I found Bobo's. It was easy to locate (like most everything in Topeka) and I was able to stroll right in and sit at the tiny, curved counter without a wait. The menu is classic diner food...
