A super clean place in an old Bank with a HUGE selection of pies that are yummy. They had a new cook who was a bit befuddled and got our order wrong and was running way behind, but the chicken fried steak was great, potatoes were great, soup was good but chilly,veggies were bland and uninspired...chicken & noodles over mashed...

Wow, thank you tripadvisor for pointing this awesome restaraunt in topeka. The chicken fired steak was absolutely the best, didn't even hardly need a knife to cut it because it was so tender! Such a breath of fresh air to get away from Wanamaker to an actual locally owned place. Check it out, the local diners are makin a comeback!

Located on north Kansas Ave. in a former bank this quaint restaurant is small, the decor is subpar, but the food is top of the line just like your mom made growing up. Great value for the various menu items and desserts are superb with many, many varieties of pies. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
