A Chef's Kitchen is not a restaurant. Restaurants allow you to order off a menu, they keep the food preparation out of sight, and they mostly leave the wine selections up to you unless you want to take the advice of a server who may or may not know what he is talking about. A Chef's Kitchen is a participatory...

This place was The highlight of of Williamsburg visit. The cooking class approach combined with the excellent entrees made for a very memorable evening. Dinner started a little later than expected (6:30) and lasted about three hours which was nice pace for the five courses.

We took our kids (12 & 10) to D.C. and Williamsburg for a couple of weeks. In the latter part of the vacation we dined at "A Chef's Kitchen". It was truly one of the highlights of our our entire trip. The food was terrific, the service was impeccable, the atmosphere very comfortable -- though as one reviewer noted, it...

It's like you're watching "The Food Network" You would really like to taste what was just cooked, but can't. Here you can and do. You are watch the chef and his helper from stadium seating. (three rows) Then they serve you the food. Wine is served with each course, and you get to keep the recipes and take them home....

My husband and I attended the cooking and eating session at A Chef's Kitchen while visiting Williamsburg. We really enjoyed ourselves. The food was amazing and plentiful and the cooking demonstration was not only educational but very enjoyable.

I am late in submitting this as we were there in November and it is now March !! could make this very long but if you enjoy cooking shows you will LOVE this experience. May seem somewhat expensive - but for what you get it is worth it. We surprised out 2 adult children with this experience and they both...

My husband and I enjoyed our first night here on Wednesday. It was awesome! Dinner was about 2.5 hours long and not only was the food absolutely amazing but the Chef's and staff were amazing too! The menu had such an eclectic mix of things for the five courses that we were bound to try new things. Some of the...

We went to A Chef's Kitchen last month with friends from NYC and we were all blown away. All of the food is excellent and you watch them prepare it right in front of you while they explain what they are doing...and learn all kinds of kitchen tricks and food info along the way. This is the freshest meal you...

When someplace was great the first time, you always worry it won't live up to your memories if you go back a couple years later. We loved A Chef's Kitchen in 2008 and couldn't wait to go back this time. A Chef's Kitchen didn't just live up to our memories - it surpassed them on all counts. We scheduled our...

We recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner at A Chef's Kitchen while visiting the Williamsburg area. The small and intimate nature of the restaurant, and the relaxed and informative chefs make the evening very enjoyable. We were able to watch our dinner being prepared while learning about the ingredients and preparation techniques. The quanitiy and quality of food, along with the...
