Ate at the less formal Terrace room adjacent to the Regency room. If youre staying at the Inn, this is the place to eat. We ate there 3 times in four days. Food is super fresh delicious & reasonably priced for being in such a grand location. Staff was great. Dont miss this place!! i WANT TO GO BACK asap...

It feels strange giving a restaurant with excellent food and service a three-star review, but alas, the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant killed it for us. The Regency Room's decor looks like it was the height of class and sophistication in the 1960s and 70s, but hasn't changed at all since then. And based on the age of the...

We had a wonderful dinner at the Williamsburg Inn Regency Room on a Saturday night. Everything was great - service, food, atmosphere and staff. They really take care of you here and want to make sure you have a great time. We've been to the Regency Room multiple times and it is always a great time.

2.5 hours of personalized dinner service, no rushed feeling, just utter relaxation and elegance. A live band played and there’s a dance floor too. For two, appetizer, dinner, coffee, and a mint julep cost $160, including tax and tip, but it was absolutely worth it. Jackets for men, suits preferred, dresses or cocktail pants suits for ladies. Reservations are a...

I had read about the Regency Room and decided to dine here, since we were staying at the Williamsburg Inn. It is formal, meaning coat and tie, and that helps the atmosphere without the sloppy dress so commonplace in US restaurants now. We were greeted by name, even without saying whom we were, and seated promptly. The wait staff was...

My husband and I had previously only dined at the Regency Room once, on our honeymoon 20 years ago. We were in our early twenties and had never been in such a nice restaurant before. We had an amazing dinner in a romantic atmosphere with excellent service, and it's always been one of our favorite memories. My husband made us...

Although I'm very supportive of Colonial Williamsburg, I'm not sure that the Regency Room is worth the money. It's an elegant restaurant with great service, but the quality of the food doesn't match the prices. Consider other options that are worth the money - Fat Canary, Le Yaca, and Art Cafe 26.

We booked a "Spring Stories" package this April that included daily breakfast at the Williamsburg Inn. While we're not typically "big breakfast" fans we were truly amazed at the variety, quality and value of the breakfasts in the Regency and Rockefeller rooms.
Unlike many packages, here we were not limited to a stock buffet or continental breakfast but offered either...

Date of visit: November 1, 2009.
We go to Williamsburg every year for vacation and always make a point of going to the Regency Room, generally for its Sunday brunch and occassionaly for dinner to celebrate something special. We went to the brunch this year and although the format varies from year to year, the experience is always enjoyable. Some...
