We were on the Carnival Dream. There were 4 adults 4 children. We were one of the first off the ship but by the time you get there it is 9am and you have to leave at 1:30pm. The day we were there the grass was bad! I mean 3 feet high. You could not even get to the water....

Everyone there was great. The food was great. The drinks were great. I don't know if they do this for everyone or if it was a spur-of-the-moment thing, but one of the employees gathered up 5 or 6 star fish and gave a little lesson on them and let people gently hold them. They max out at 50 or 60...

SO AWESOME! I promise, you will not regret coming here. It's the ideal spot for anyone looking to relax and have fun on a stop off a cruise. The staff and family that own Maya Chan are perfect; you couldn't ask for kinder people. It was an absolute dream for my family when we went. It's a MUST!

I am so glad I found Maya Chan Beach for our stop in Costa Maya. We were sailing on the Carnival Dream April 2-9, 2011 and our day at Maya Chan was wonderful.
