My family and I just got back from a wonderful trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama. We were thankful that our facility we stayed in had a grill and kitchen and we made good use of it as my husband cooked most of our meals at the beachhouse. He likes to grill and we thought we would save a little money...

The stufffed flounder is highly recommended! It was delicious. Was not impressed with the salad bar, but everything else was great!

Our food was excellent. Hubby got a broiled combo and I had butter pecan amberjack. Heavenly!! My hubby couldn't stop raving about his food. Server was awesome. Two small kids and he brought out extras for them. We eat out a lot and this place is easily in our top 3!!!!

What is not to like? The Original Oyster House sets elevated with a lovely view of the Little Lagoon in Gulf Shores, AL. Our latest visit was on a Thursday evening in mid-February. There was a full house but we were seated immediately at a good table. We loved going the the Original Oyster House in Gulf Shores, AL, for lunch and creating our own platter with pick 2 or pick 3 items and 2 sides. We always had a different combination and the salad bar is also the best around. We will be back next year for sure. Thanks for the great food and wonderful service.
