If you bring your tuppaware containers into The Moroccan Soup Bar in North Fitzroy, they will fill them up with exotic and de-lish North African vegetarian dishes while you wait, Makes a healthy change to normal take-aways....cous-cous with vegie curries, almond & chickpea yogurt......yum!

A local favourite. DELICIOUS food!!! Often hard to get a table, but take your own containers and you can get take-away meals. Sooooo yummy! Love this place :)

Food - do yourself a favor and get the banquet. The pita breads, olives, dips and marinated veggies for the starter rather than the soup. Soup isn't that great. It's a verbal menu but usually the same each night. Chickpea bake is amazing. My friend from overseas go home and try to make it! Lentil, okra and rice as well...

As a relatively fussy vegetarian, this place is one of my favourite restaurants! It's been recently discovered by my boyfriend and I and we have returned to this restaurant a few more times just on our own or with other friends. The place also offers a great take away service. I love a restaurant that knows how to cook lentils and chickpeas so that even non-vegetarians will love the food. Everyone should visit the restaurant. Only downside was the service - very stand-offish / bordering on rude. Also cash only with no proper receipt (for tax purposes)
