We recently spent 3 weeks in upper state New York, Vermont and Quebec. The Brown Hound Bistro was among the best food we found, if not the best. Everything was fresh and local and the staff was friendly and helpful. We went back twice more while we were in the area because we liked it so much.

Took my parents here last fall while staying in Honeoye - got a lovely table on the porch. Since it was a cool night they provided us with fleece lap blankets and our own tabletop kerosene heater - so comfy! Food was delicious, albiet a tad pricey. Also loved all the dog pics in the powder room!
