Excelent food. We have followed the suggestion of trip advisor and spent our first dinner at tony's. We were vere well welcomed. The waiter were very friendly and enriched culturally, which made our stay even more pleasent. We have ordered a house salad as a first dish(lettuce, tomatoes, olivers, carrots, onions); as the main dish we had a salmon oreganato. Both...

Restaurant had a good atmosphere but the food was not so good. Went with my daughters for a meal to celebrate my older daughter's birthday. We orderd 2 main meals as the portions served 2-3 people, but the food was very bland. The meatballs were huge and not very tasty or fresh. The chicken dish we chose was just like...

Make sure you are hungry when you go to this restaurant. The staff are friendly and can steer you in the right direction when it comes to what you want to order. This is a place you can go with family in a group or on your own. It is not a quiet place so don't go here if you...

I've been to Tony's Di Napoli a few times. It's a place I go to if I need to be in Times Square and need a good cheap place to eat with a group. This is definitely a group place, as serving sizes are very large, hence the "homestyle". It's great for sharing, and prices are reasonable, especially for the...

Supersize portions made to be shared. Had fried zucchini with the best tomatosauce ever. Asked the waiter for the recipe but he said it was a secret :-). The restaurant is quite big and the volume gets high as the place is crowded. Don´t forget to reserve a table, especially if you´re going pre theatre. After 8 pm the restaurant...

Lovely atmosphere. Food disappointed us though as we expected more authentic food preparation. We had a sense of "heat and eat".

Excuse me while I gush over everything Tony : the succulent salmon , the tiramisu that is ambrosia , the salad with tomatoes bursting with juice , the wait staff that welcomes you like long lost relatives. Words, words they are utterly useless to describe this Nirvana di Napoli. You must stop immediately what you are doing - making love...

We only visited because we are staying at the Casablanca next door, it was raining and there is a connecting door to the restaurant. I am so happy it was raining! The atmosphere of this place is just amazing: it's busy and lively. Just watching the table staff is great fun in itself. Even on a Tuesday night it is...

Tony's is my favority restaurant in NY. The food is great, the servings are HUGE (good for 2-3 persons? They are not joking! Order an appetizer then you'll be good for 4!) ... Good choice of wine too. The atmosphere is friendly and romantic. My one and only complaint: the non-salty butter is tasteless. But hey, who wants to eat...

At first I was a little disappointed that the individual-portion menu had fewer choices than the family style menu. But the waiter had some excellent recommendations, and despite going to British Columbia, Seattle and Portland many times, the Salmon Oreganata was the best piece of salmon I"ve ever had. Perfect!
