Had lunch here recently and would agree the meatballs are fantastic. So are the homemade ice cream sandwiches. The place is crowded and you might have to sit at a communal table if there are no empty seats. It's very New York!

Had a great dinner - meatball hero that came with a terrific side salad, plus home made ice cream sandwich - for $20, including tip. HIGHLY recommended for both value and quality of food. I found it well worth seeking out on Lower East Side during recent visit to Big Apple.

and am I glad I did - the place is always really crowded and now I know why - it is awesome - the meatballs they were good, sure...but the sauces and the sides are what will keep me coming back - the pesto is to die for!
