We stayed at the HIE Brooklyn for a family member's wedding and to visit friends in Brooklyn.
The location is close to a subway station and has a parking lot. The weekend we stayed the hotel was full but we did get a parking spot. We had to rent a car because the wedding we were attending was really far...

Okay, so this is not a fancy schmancy Manhattan hotel. And that's just the point. Save lots of money, and stay in a nice place. With a subway station only a half-block away, you can go anywhere with ease and for less than a taxi, which would have been a disaster during and a few days after the Blizzard of...

Very small rooms, very small parking lot (~20 spaces) which is always full with employees vehicles, a "business center" which is a closet with one computer, and to top it off they have BED BUGS. Thats right they are infested, don't stay here if you ever want to sleep comfortably again.

Customer service offered over the phone by the staff at this hotel was more than I could have expected. Our flight into NYC was canceled due to the snow delays at JFK and we booked the package through Orbitz. The off-site manager gave the desk permission to cancel our hotel stay so we could get on with being angry with...

I recently moved away from Brooklyn, and decided to come back for the Thanksgiving weekend. I watched the Holiday Inn be built a few years ago and thought that it would be the perfect place for me to stay during my trip back to my old neighborhood. When living in Brooklyn (a mile away from the hotel), I always wondered...

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express was great (Nov. 11 - 14, 2010). The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond, to make my stay comfortable. My room was small and the carpet needed cleaning. My wireless card was not working, and the staff had a computer cable in my room, when I returned from the meeting....

The hotel appears new and is very clean (my top priority, naturally). I was traveling with a big group and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was great, featuring more protein-rich items than your standard bagels and muffins.
Rooms were a little small and walls are incredibly thin. Lots of door slamming. And the wind? Oh my! It...

My sister and I stayed here before our Princess cruise, leaving from Brooklyn. The service was great, yummy breakfast included. Conveniently located close to shopping, restaurants and several subway stops. On Saturday morning try the Brooklyn Flea Market for interesting local finds and great people watching.

We have been to NYC many times and decided to stay in Brooklyn this time (great bars and restaurants and a differnt vibe to Manhattan). This hotel was in a great area, near the subway but within walking distance to the lively streets of 5th ave and Smith St (both with great shops and restaurants). The area was totally safe...

My husband and I needed a place in Brooklyn to stay after helping our son move into his apartment just a few blocks away. We booked a room using his Priority Club Points, so our stay was free. We arrived tired and hot after working all day, to discover that I had made the reservation for the wrong night! The...
