As a first time visitor to New York i felt this was an absolutely perfect location for sightseeing, being walking distance to Times Square and Central Park and the Subway which will also take you to the other 'must see' locations is also walking distance and easy enough to find your way around........being in a new city it was great...

We had a double-double room and even got 2 bathrooms! Average size room for NYC (which means no room for dancing.) Didn't spend much time in the room, but it was clean and comfortable with lots of towels. Location is great - close to Central Park, the subway and the theater district. We plan to stay here again.

Still can't get over the prices for New York City mid-town hotel rooms. I must research harder my next trip. $230+ for a tiny hovel, with faded and dated decor, weak AC and terrible plumbing (the water kept vacilating from scalding to freezing).
