I read alot of negative reviews and YES I was a little leary at booking but that all changed when I checked into the Bentley. I had a suite with an amazing view. Ate at the roof top restaurant. Food service was very slow but worth the wait. I will most definately stay in the Bentley again.

We liked our room on the 9th floor, which had a great view, was spacious and clean. Attention in the hotel was also good and very friendly. It is slightly remote, about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the closest metro station, and about 20 minutes to Central Park.

My husband and I booked a standard (queen-bed) room and after checking in found out that the manager had "upgraded" us to a room with two double beds. We complained about how the smaller beds were not an "upgrade", so the staff attempted to switch us to a second-floor room with a king bed, but it was WAY too loud...

I am so sorry to learn of the poor experience you had at Bentley. Just to clarify, the size of the Queen bed in the Standard room is identical to a bed in Deluxe double, room with 2 beds. Very poor service in the hotel. We were charged unfairly mini bar expenses, key cards stopped working in the middle of our stay, personnel was constantly in and out of the room (housekeepers, more towels, chocolates, all done separately and by different personnel) and the hotel bar was ridiculously expensive. Upon check in A/C was not working, was fixed quickly. The mini bar was unplugged with a note saying do not plug in so therefore all drinks were hot. Does any one know how to get in touch with bentley hotel? I stayed there for my 21st birthday for 4 nights all payed for BEFORE! At check out we had two things out the mini bar which probably added up to £18 and got a receipt for that, now a few days later, i still have a waiting transaction...
