The Lowell is like having your own apartment in the Upper East Side. The rooms are large, luxe, spotless, cozy, and there is a little kichenette in each room. The location is perfect, right on 63rd and Madison, easy to get to theater or downtown. The people at the desk and Concierge are always helpful as are the doormen. And...

I recently stayed in this wonderful and real Boutique Hotel in New York, the building has a lot of charm and the location is so elegant upper east side. The staff is really nice, having real attention to the guests. The rooms and bathroom are very comfortable and large, even if mine was bit noisy due to the central AC...

Wow. Worth the money. We've stayed there several times and have never been disappointed. Stayed in one of their smallest, least expensive rooms and it was beautiful and well appointed. Only "problem" was that the view from the window looked down upon other exterior walls, not the street, but this meant the room was extraordinarily quiet for NYC. The service...

This Hotel is truly a gem! Discreet with understated elegance and low key luxury. If you are looking for flashy this is not the place to go but if you love discretion, class and efficency this hotel has it all. My room although rather small was very comfortable with good closet space and the kitchenette was really a plus. Service...

The rooms are on the small side, although the bathrooms are quite large for NYC. In addition, you will pay a pretty penny to stay here. Setting aside these issues, if money is no object this is a great option -- the service is wonderful. The staff goes out of their way to meet guests' every need, the room service...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Lowell. It provides under-stated luxury in a quiet and comfortable manner. It's located in a quiet residential neighborhood on 63rd between Madison & Park. There are lots of good restaurants within a short walking distance. The subway is two blocks to the F line at 63rd and about 5 blocks to the Lex...

We stayed here the first night of our honeymoon 12 years ago. I'm a native New Yorker, and have never been disappointed. This hotel is brilliant through and through. From the amenities, to the decor of the rooms each is individually appointed with the ultimate in taste. We have come on innumerable trips to New York from Philly, my family...

We stayed at The Lowell for one night. A friend of us recommended the hotel. As a surprise we recieved an upgrade to a suite. The suite was magnificent and decorated by a famous interiour decorator. The style of the hotel is English with a tearoom in English style. Also our suite was in English style, but with a modern...
