The worst hotel I had ever stayed in my life.. I stayed in this hotel in the summer 2011, the room was dirty specially the bathroom. The staffs was rude, unfriendly,.. The most things that made me crazy that they turn off the AC in the morning (so there is no AC) I don’t know why, I remember that I...

I stayed at the Hotel Stanford for five nights at the end of April 2011. There were four of us in total, in two twin rooms. Price: Firstly as regards price, it was the best I could find for that time of the year in a central location and which met our needs. We all know how expensive hotels are...

excellent position, good value for money. The hotel lies few meters from the metro "Herald Square". Helpful staff at the reception. Good continental breakfast :) free internet till the 3 p.m. I travel with 3 friends and we have a comfortable "juonior suite", 2 double beds and a sofa. The last 2 mornings we have breakfast just 10 minutes before...

Reasonably priced hotel walking distance from Penn Station. Helpful check-in staff and friendly service by New York standards. Bedroooms have tired decor, but comfortable beds and decent showers - you should always expect to get what you pay for. I've no real complaints about the hotel, the location is good and we didn't pay much for our 4 nights here,...

Myself and two family members stayed in this hotel last year for 10nights and had a wonderful stay. The location is excellent, just around the corner from Macy's. We found all the staff friendly and very helpful. On that trip we ended up moving rooms half way through our trip, both rooms were large, modern and clean, thus the reason...

I picked up a good value couple of nights stay at the Stanford for around $130 per night, which in terms of New York is a bargain, especially when it comes to the position of this hotel. The front door is mere steps from the Herald Square subway stop, which has service from (I think) 7 different lines, with many...

We visited New York for the second time in September 2010 and stayed here, the Hotel Stanford which is situated in the Korean District. However, only 2 minutes away from Herald Square. Macy's is about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The service was exceptional, rooms really clean and tidy, all the mod cons. Bathroom was superb. Very spacious...

We paid nearly $400 per night for 5 nights for two queen beds and a sofa. The room itself was fine and the bathroom was clean and the beds comfortable. Problem was we had no air flow through one of the AC vents. About 3 times someone tried to fix it. After the first time we simply asked for a...

It's an older hotel that has been nicely renovated. The rooms are small but comfortable and considering the location, centrally located in lower Manhattan, the place is a great value. This ain't no day spa, it's true, but the staff is courteous and responsive and the rooms are clean.
