We stayed on the 15th floor facing the Hudson river in a two bedroom, with fridge and microwave, private shower.Daily cleaning services.Grocery stores nearby .Quiet and safe neighbourhood yet central. Four stops by subway to theaters and museums.
The only lack was dishes and cuttlery which was solved by the staff the next morning.

I'll keep this short. Its perfect for a traveler on a budget. Yes, the hotel is old and it shows but rooms, although very small are clean and comfortable enough. Linens and towels are changed daily and the location is just perfect.

We stayed here from April . It was roughly $159 per room per night for three of us before tax, which is added onto the price on arrival. This is standard practice in some NY hotels, it's not a con.
The woman on reception was nice and checked us in quickly. We had a room on floor...

We just returned froma two night stay at Riverside Towers in NYC Upper West Side. Conveniently located, we had tried to stay there several times in the past and they were always booked! This time a room was available and based on recent ripadvisor's reviews we jumped a the chance to stay for only $80 per night. Well, the price...

For those New York visitors who are willing to content with small, basic equipped rooms, this is a good choice for hotel in Manhattan. Located in upper west side, where you feel safe to walk alone at night, close to subway station and to many shops and restaurants on 80th street (dont miss Zabar, the great delly). Yet, Inexpensive for...

I stayed here on the new years eve weekend for about 5 days. The staff is the friendliest ever. No bugs! The decor is old but you get what you pay for. The rooms are tiny. If your on a budget I would recommend it. There is a subway close by and a strip of bars about 3 blocks away.

I had 7 days vacation at NYC and i was really uncertain which hotel to choose. My guideline was staying at Manhattan at the lowest price but still without sharing a bathroom. Finally chose this hotel, upgraded to a room with a view to the Hudson river and a personal bathroom. Very close to a subway and only a few...

It is certainly not the fanciest hotel in New York, but it is clean and simple with courteous employees and no bugs! Be sure to take a suite which included two small rooms with beds, with a shower and toilet between the two rooms. On the Upper West Side, the location is in a nice neighborhood. You can't beat the...

Again, as in many years past, we stayed at this, our preferred NY hotel. We like the location, the proximity to the metro, the view from our 12.floor suite, the easy availability of kitchen utensils, the friendly staff and the ongoing feeling of actually having a pied-a-terre in New York. The price is right, the nights are rather quiet, the...

We have stayed at the Riverside Tower four times, with each stay being for a week. So we know the hotel and the neighborhood very well. We have had very positive experiences each time.
We know of no other clean hotel in New York priced this low with a private bathroom.
The rooms are very clean. We have never seen...
