After reading some of these reviews we were a little worried that the hotel wouldn't be very good, We needn't have worried, it was great - we found all the staff we met very helpful indeed (if you're friendly, people will be friendly back). We used the free safety deposit box system and had to get someone to unlock it...

the room was a good size, massive bed and kept nice and clean. tv had bad picture and absolutley no view from the window (except brick wall that is) which made you think it would be dank and overcast outside. the reception were fine, some more helpful than others but all in all it was all we needed as a...

The Jolly is a very solid hotel for New York standards. Rooms are clean and well-equipped. Bathrooms quite spacious and rather newly done. The breakfast buffet which was included in the price has been a good deal. Most importantly, the hotel is in a convenient location, close to 5th Avenue as well as Grand Central Station.

the rooms are outdated but the location is great and the rooms are clean. staff is friendly and the hotel is in great shape for what you pay. Got this from Priceline name your own price and it was well worth the gamble. Within a few minutes of Grand Central Station and other great areas.

There are some negative reviews of this hotel. They are wrong. It is ideally placed for walking around Midtown New York. I stayed with my adult daughter. Our room was a little small. The decor was dated . There was a view of a brick wall. However you don't spend much time in your room - it was clean, and thoroughly...

Our travel agent booked a superior room with two double beds, and rang them to confirm booking details, We got a small grubby room with two single beds next to the lift shaft. The view was the central structure of the hotel, so no daylight. There was a hole in the wall next to the noisy air-con unit. The handles...

Having read some reviews on this hotel before we went we were a bit worried. We book a twin room but on arrival we got a small double room. We were expecting a problem getting moved. But we found the staff friendly and helpful. They changed our room the next day to a much bigger room. The room was cleaned...

You write it as you see it. Just can't agree with some of the reviews on here. Greeted in a friendly manner at the front desk and promptly upgraded from superior room to junior suite at no cost. Room everything we could wish for, huge bed and stunning bathroom. Position excellent, central for all we wanted to do and just...

I stayed here for 2 nights (13-14 April) and was apprehensive having read other people's reviews but I had no problems and had a nice comfortable stay. I was a travelling alone but was still disappointed to be put in a room with 2 single beds and not 1 double. The room size was adequate and clean and the bathroom...
