Although part of the Hilton group the hotel does not feel like a characterless, international hotel. The building dates from the 1930s and has kept some of its period charm. Although it has 300 rooms, it seems much smaller. My corner room was a good size, very quiet and well equipped. Hotel is in a quiet location but only a...

When I stay at a Hilton hotel I expect a certain level of service. This stay did not meet my expectations. The staff were not rude but certainly not friendly, they were often preoccupied with whatever else they were doing to attend to guests. My room was spacious and comfortable. There were no bath towels in the bathroom, a fact...

I booked a room with the Hilton Manhattan East through Priceline.com for a three night stay in late May 2011. We arrived at the hotel at about 9:00am which was quite early for check-in so they didn't have a room for us yet but they held our bags with the bellhop no trouble. Everything else was wonderful...the staff were all...

from the moment I stepped out of the cab, until the time I left, I felt I was in a time warp. The Hotel and staff provided a smart elegant room, and old fashioned guest attention. No fake smiles here just genuine care for the guest. Great location, great servive and the best value for money in new york. Probably...

I think I got a room during the work week for under $200. Are you kidding me? A room in NYC under $200!? And in a decent neighborhood?!? The hotel has recently undergone renovations. It looks like Hilton bought 2 small hotels that were close together and formed them into one Hilton hotel, so this is not your traditional Hilton...

When I arrived at the hotel, right after doing the check in, I took the elevator to de 15th floor where my room was supposed to be. The thing is that the elevator stoped on the 12th floor and suddenly started to drop a few inches at the time (yes, like a terror movie!!) Some minuter passed by (like hours)...

I enjoyed my stay at this Hotel at first glance the hotel is very classy. Upon approaching the hotel I was welcomed by the evening doorman Chris Colon who was very helpful and informative about the parking garage and referred us to a couple of different attractions in the area...you can tell he lives in the city. Chafik the bellman...

Having been to New York previously, we knew the location of this hotel and that it would allow us to get away from all the crowds and noise but still be within a short walk to Times Square etc. Hotel is nice and quiet, staff friendly and helpful and although the rooms are a bit on the small side it...

We won a Priceline bid at the Hilton Manhattan East for an astoundingly low price ($117) but Tripadvisor reviews were luckily good. Everything that the other reviews say are true. Hotel lobby is smallish but has some nice seating areas, and the bar/lounge towards the back of the long lobby looked cozy and comfortable. There was fresh fruit on the...
