My husband and I are just back from a 5 night trip to NYC and stayed in Amsterdam Court......We would definitely stay here again. Great value so more spending money for the NYC attractions. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, right in the heart of everything but we had no problems with noise. We...

Stayed at this hotel as a celebration of our Ruby Wedding Anniversary (40 years) and was disappointed with it. Situation is perfect to be right near theatres and Times Square, just 5 minutes walk away. The hotel itself needs a lot of TLC as it is very drab and dated - all decorated in dull mode (dark brown carpets and...

We stayed in the Amsterdam court a few weeks ago when visiting friends in the city. When we got there the first room they took us to had one dingy light, bathroom floors had multiple cracks, the shower was gross, and it was the size of a closet. My girlfriend was literally in tears moments after we walked in. We...

Stayed in this hotel for a week, in May 2011, and I have to admit that the location is perfect. Just near Times Square (2 minutes walking) and in a not too big building. There were works in progress in the façade of the building, but that was ok.
The staff at the Reception was nice and professional, although the...

I stayed here with a friend in November. The front desk employees were wonderful and very helpful. It is close to the subway, walking distance to the theaters and times square. I wanted to stay there on my upcoming trip (tomorrow), but the room had gone up and I was on a one night trip. My next trip will be...

Would you sleep in a room with hairs on the bed covers. rugs so dirty and torn that the maid changing the bed covers didn't want to place the blankets on floor. Fortunately manager Robert Grippo cancelled the rest of the reservation. They should not rent these rooms at all. I'm wondering if what qualifies as a health hazard in...

This was the worst Hotel room I have ever seen. We booked it through Bookit.com and it was listed as a 3 star. I have posted some pics up. We had two rooms and they were both identically bad. We immediately left and had to wander the city finally finding a Hyatt property with 1 room available for over $400.

Besides the convenient location (walking distance from Broadway), this was one of the poorest hotels i have ever had the displeasure of staying in. room was very small and outdated by several decades. After reading the reviews we were hesitant to stay here. We traveled with friends. Everything you are reading about slow elevators is correct, but being one block off of Broadway and a 5 minute walk to Times Square was fantastic. We went to see Lion King and walked both directions (maybe 10 minutes each way).
We were upgraded to a...
