This was my first time in the USA and my first night in NY. The photos from the web site don't correspond to reality. At least dorm-rooms. The only one thing that I liked is a hall. I lived in a room with 4 beds and it was really terrible to discover that there is no air-conditioner and the only...

I'm from Brazil and was going back home after a three months work experience program in western Maryland and went to NY get to know the city. This hostel was perfect, the bathrooms were cleaned all the time and the bedrooms were very good also. The towels were a bit old, but also cleaned and changed every day. The rooms...

We were looking for a cheap and well located hotel hotel in NY, and we found this one. It's just in the westside, a nice neighborhood near Broadway avenue and close to two tube stations. Lots of delis and shops around where to eat breakfast and dinner. The hotel was very simple though. We had a room for 4 people,...

Location - Quiet part of Uptown. Not a whole heap of restaurants or bars nearby. A very short walk to Central Park. Room - Room was OK, although was on the basic and small side. Our floor had a funny, greasy food odour. Not too sure if this was from another room or from a nearby take-out place. No elevator,...

My friend and I stayed here for 6 nights. To summarise: the location is fantastic with the subway only 2 blocks away. The room and bathrooms are cleaned every day. It has obviously just had a facelift which makes it look okay but then on a closer inspection it has been poorly finished. The big downside is that it has...

It was our first time in New York so as you can imagine we spent most of our time out and about. The hotel was a great base. 10 mins walk from central park and a 20min subway ride to Time sq. Plenty of diners, cafes and coffee houses where you can get a great breakfast are on your doorstep....
