I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was much better than what i thought it would be. Rooms were big, clean and modern. Staff were also friendly. If i had a problem they'd sort it immediatly. we wee on the 7th floor facing the street and noise levels were at a minimum.
The breakfast is my only negative comment....

I stayed here for 6 nights at the beginning of may with a group of friends. We arrived at 3pm in time for check in and it all went very smoothly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was on the ninth floor at the rear of the hotel. We had a room with two...

I stayed 2 weeka at thia hotel, in 2 different rooms.
The 1st, at the 7th floor was great. The other 2nd floor wasn't that good. Wireless internet was compimentary, but the signal was terrible in my room at the 2nd floor. The breakfast is good, but since it is exactly the same everyday, on the 3rd day you'll be...

Booked in this hotel because of location, price and reviews read here. I cannot give high enough praise for it. I arrived the day the Blizzard of New York (2010) hit. Fortunately I only had to go out once as the streets were a mess. However the hotel was like an oasis. The room was modern, spacious and sparkling clean,...

We venture to NY for a Bon Jovi Concert at Madison Square Garden. We arrived 3/5 and departed 3/6. Arriving at the hotel our room was not ready so we were able to store our luggage so we could go and walk around the city. We were a block and a half from the garden and 3 blocks from Times...

Typically, we stay Embassy Suites or equivalent hotels I stayed at the Wingate for 4 nights with my wife and three kids (ages 8, 6 and 2). We got two double beds for $150/night, which included breakfast. We were concerned it would be a dump b/c that seemed like a price (in NYC) to be "too good to be true",...

I was looking for a hotel close to Penn Station, Chelsea and Times Square and this literally put me in the middle of it all. The room was good size (much bigger than the cubbyhole I had last month at the Ramada New Yorker), the breakfast a nice addition (although the waffle maker was always either busy or out of...

This was a nice little hotel located in the Garment District a block from Macy's and 1 and a half blocks from Madision Square Garden. The room was very nicely appointed and had a king size bed, a sitting chair and ottoman. The flat screen TV was small but more than adequate. The included hot breakfast was a treat where...
