We had a wonderful time when we stayed at Ivy Terrace. It was close to what we wanted to see and do - centrally located. The staff was very helpful and informative. The breakfasts choices in the room the next morning was unique and we enjoyed. I would stay there again. I would recommend it to anyone.

Our stay at Ivy terrace was one of the most memorable get aways we have had in quite some time. We really enjoyed our beautifully decorated room done so tastefully . The location was fabulous my friend and I really love Indian food and we ate at a wonderful Indian restaurant just a stones throw away from the B&B. I...

Not gonna say a lot, other than I live in the city now and had friends visit.. I took a room too! If you work it out, you and your friends can have the building & make it yours! Perfect for a reunion & and so much better than a hotel, but I think I said the same thing already...

We loved our stay at the Ivy Terrace! The owners were very accommodating when we arrived earlier than the check-in time. They were extremely helpful and gave us great advice about getting tickets to Broadway shows and navigating NYC. The neighborhood is wonderful. There are many restaurants and good shopping nearby, not to mention that it is a short walk...

Me, my wife and my 2yo daughter had a wonderful time in this B&B. We stayed in Rose Room, a big and comfortable apartment with a full kitchen, a big bed and a big sofa bed for my baby. The refrigerator was packed with breakfast ingredients, so we could have an early morning meal with cereal, bagels and eggs. My...

The room, Victoria Suite, was as a pretty and charming as the photos, maybe more so. It was certainly more spacious. I loved having a little ktichen where I could cook my own breakfast and meals. I had a fabulous meal at the Indian restaurant downstairs.. Yuva and was able tto bring my leftovers back to my room and put...

Great Location-VERY Clean and the goodies in the fridge were a nice addition. Small Problem with the window which Jeff fixed right away. We look forward to staying at the Ivy on our next business trip to the city. Would suggest a faster internet service for business travelers but not a biggie.

All we seemed to hear about before arriving in New York for our first visit was the bedbug plague the city seemed to be experiencing. So the thought of spending a week in a b&b caused a little apprehension. We needn't have worried. As with all other aspects, the Ivy Terrace team were right on top of that potential problem,...

Found this B&B/efficiency apartment on Tripadvisor and so glad we did. Wanted a place within walking distance of Central Park and Carnegie Hall and also was looking for free wireless and free breakfast fix-ins. Not too many hotels met these criteria. Jeff, one of the off-site innkeepers, was very helpful in helping us both before our arrival and during our...

Thanks so much, catcrazy for your review! Ivy Suite is one of our most requested rooms and I can see that you loved our new mattress set. Glad you enjoyed the breakfast items, which many N.Y.C. B&B's do not provide. Jeff and I do all we can to make each guest feel at home as well as provide great value.... more

I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful "unhosted" B&B. My hat is off to Vinessa and Jeff. You have maintained your high standards over the years and we, your guests, appreciate that! I sing your praises to all our friends. We shall return.

Hi Kazooboys, Thanks for the new review and your loyalty to Ivy Terrace B&B. We strive to maintain our high standards even in this tough economy. Although we are not perfect, we try to treat our guests as extended family. Lucky for us we have loads of return visitors, such as yourselves. We understand the choices are overwhelming when visiting... more
