My husband and I chose this hotel to spend a long weekend in NYC and celebrate our wedding anniversary. When booking, my husband let them know it was a special occasion for us. When we arrived, we were given congratulations and a small complimentary gift of our choice (snack and drink) which would be delivered to our room, as well...

Just returned from a one night stay and overall it was terrific. The pros.... Instant free upgrade on check in to a larger room (due to being a 'silver member'). The room was very clean and sleek, with a lovely bathroom and nice features like a safe and flat screen TV. Bed VERY comfortable with great comforter and four pillows!...

We booked this over our daughters' spring break. We didn't mind paying a premium to stay in New York City. Little did we know that the hotel would make us sleep on the floor. When we reserved the room we reserved it for four people: me, myself and our two daughters (7 and 4). When we arrived the hotel indicated...

This hotel surprised me in a good way! I had a conference two blocks away from Hotel 57. I really needed to be in walking distance and this was as close as I could get. I as afraid the age of the hotel would be gloomy but it was totally charming. I found many of the guests were regulars at...

My wife and I just stayed at the Hotel 57 and found the rooms to be comfortable if a bit small for the price we paid in NYC. There was some obvious wear and tear on the walls, especially those nearest the desk. The bathroom was clean with everything in working order. Our one slight problem was related to the...

I stayed in this hotel for my Wedding Anniversary. After originally booking a room at the empire hotel, after reading reviews i changed to this hotel. On arrival its a nice botique hotel, the staff were all polite and helpful. We had a good size room with a large bathroom, which we were very happy with. The bar was nice...

I stayed here on the weekend of Jan 28, it was freezing cold and snowing in NYC but coming from Miami, I was excited about the change in weather. When I arrived, I checked in immeditely. the front desk agent was nice and friendly but when i asked a few questions about the surrounding area, she was not aware of...

I stayed at Hotel 57 during January's Snowmageddon. On the whole, I found the staff to be equal parts delightful and helpful. The rooms, on the other hard, are a bit banged up and poky. Upon check-in, I was upgraded to a larger room because so many rooms were unoccupied. All I have to say is that if this is...
