This was the perfect location to stay for my daughter's graduation from the New School. We were walking distance to her apt in the East Village and a longer walk to the University. Make sure you are not staying in the basement rooms – they try to trick you by numbering these rooms starting with #7. This hotel is a wow, first night we stayed the tv remote was not not working so they moved us to another bigger room with a fridge and microwave, nothing was too much of a problem to them.
