My parents and I stayed in 2 rooms here to take in NYC and see a Broadway play. I usually stay at the W Hotel on Lexington for work, but wanted to try Times Square since it is walking distance from all the Broadway shows! My parents had never stayed at a W Hotel and loved every minute. The staff...

Just returned from four nights at the W Time Square. We were greeted warmly at the front door and directed to the reception on the 7th Floor. Check in was quick and effortless and the reception staff were extremely courteous, answering any questions we had. We have been lucky enough to have visited New York on a few occassions and...

Recently, my 22-year-old son and I spent 3 nights at the w new york times square in room 1902. We were very disappointed with our room: *the carpet was frayed, with strings hanging *the tub had mildew on it *the toilet tank cover didn't fit, showing rust *the translucent walls to the bathroom were inappropriate, so housekeeping taped brown kraft...

We planned our stay at the W through American Express Fine Hotels program. This program entitles the customer to a room upgrade if available. We booked a room with 2 beds. Upon check-in, we were informed that a double room was unavailable and also that there was not an upgrade available. We were informed that the hotel would provide a...

Welcome Luv2travelCalif, I'm so sorry we did not have a complimentary upgrade available for you on your escape! I can certainly understand your frustration, particularly when our normal standards of service and attention to detail were not present in the room you were given. While I am appreciative of the feedback and have shared it with the Director of Style,... more

Visited the W for a short break with my husband to celebrate my 40th. First time in NYC so we wanted something special.. Check in was so quick and efficient I thought i'd missed it. We were given concise instructions on how to get to the elevators (reception on the 7th floor). Delighted with our Cool Corner Room on the...

Our recent stay at the W Times Square, was an absolute delight. It was fun, hip and exciting. The rooms were extremely quiet even though we were smack dab in the middle of all the Times Square activity! i was blown away by how fast room service was!

My sisters and I treated ourselves to the Jersey Boys (excellent!) and an overnight stay in the City. We chose the W Times Square because it was central to everything we wanted to do. We were able to walk comfortably from Grand Union to the W and from there to the Theatre and shopping surrounds. I had read on TA...

The hotel is really located IN imes Square, you cannot ask for a better spot. Lobby and bar, as well as entrance are fabulous. The minute you step in, you great a true W experience. Unfortunately, the "Wow" service stopped right there for us as the check-in experience wasn’t up to par and disappointed right away: the front desk agent...

Welcome SAMCalifornia4, Thank you for your comments! While I am so pleased you enjoyed our iconic design and ideal location, I am disappointed that you did not feel welcome upon arrival; we often do have guests taking the redeye and arriving early the next day. I will share your feedback with the Welcome Desk, as their relationships with the guests... more

We traveled to the hotel May 5-9 to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. It was also my husband's first trip to NYC and I wanted to ensure it was a fantastic trip for him. I started communicating with Molly Megargle, one of the wonderful concierges, several months in advance to make the trip extra special. Molly made planning our...

We stayed in different hotels in New York but this one is my favourite. We had 2 fabulous rooms facing one the Hudson river and the second one the Hudson rive plus Broadway. The rooms were very clean and huge as far as New York is concerned. Very clean as well. Reception people very friendly as well as the concierges....
