Stayed between the 21-28th april, 2 female travelers in our 30's, hotel was abut a ten minute walk from times square, basically all streets lead to broadway so you cant get lost, the first 5 minutes are on a quieter street but we never felt unsafe, taxi to main drag is about $8-$10 dollars depending on how far you want...

This hotel was fantastic for our needs!! The rooms may be smaller, but it is New york!! The rooms were cozy and clean and were always made up when we returned to the hotel. The staff was always friendly and willing to help us out with questions that we had. For travellers trying to stay on a budget the free breakfast...

I booked this hotel as it was close to where I needed to be for business purposes. I was meant to stay three nights, but after the first night, I checked out. The location is sketchy. Walking from the hotel towards 8th avenue--its dark and deserted. The auto body shop across the street seriously does stayall night and...

Most of the other reviews summarize this hotel quite accurately. I just want to confirm that it is a good place to stay. Clean, affordable, small rooms.
Lots of taxis on 10th Avenue. 10 minutes to MSG to see a hockey game. 10 minutes to Times Square in the other direction.
No problems walking there after dark.
Rooms were small,...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel in December. The staff had been advised that we would arrive extremely late at night as due to bad weather our plane was diverted to Washington, so we were exhausted on arrival having travelled for 24 hours. We found our room very clean and lovely and warm, and we even had a...

The best thing is that they gave us free of charge an early check in. Other than that, the room is very basic and outdated; the location is OK just a few blocks from Midtown...
Next time, I will book a hotel in advance in order to book a better place. But, if you get a low price and are...

Listen. I had a great experience at this hotel. I don't understand where the negative feedback is coming from. So close to my convention at the Javits Center. Walked everywhere without fear. Without any problems. Courteous staff. Decent price. OK breakfast. An overall wonderful experience.

The staff of this hotel is terrific - friendly, warm, helpful, and HONEST. AND they saved my husband's life. My husband left his very expensive camera on a chair in the breakfast area and a staffer immediately grabbed it, called our room (how they recognized him and knew the room number, I don't know), and before we could run downstairs...

I got this hotel on a $175 priceline bid (came to $200 with taxes). Honestly, I almost cried when I saw my priceline "win." I thought the dodgy street location would be scary for me a woman traveling solo. However, once I checked in, it was fine. Yes the hotel rooms are small, but it is New York. $3m apartments...

We stayed at this hotel October 8-10 weekend. We booked it because we had a Best Western Gift card redeemed through airmiles. We ended up paying $264 a night plus taxes which it WAY too much for this hotel. If we had paid $130 or so then it would have been fine but there was a Comic Convention on this...
