Handy well placed hotel, close to parks and riverside walks. Rooms suprisingly good, spacious and clean. One word of warning though, Not so many decent resturants close by, unless you want to brave the crowds by the riverside. And the walkway to our room on the bazzilionth floor was a real experience for me, as I am afraid of heights!!!...

First time to New York as a family and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay- lovely spacious rooms- great for family of five, delicious breakfast, managers reception was fantastic after day of sightseeing and internet room proved useful! Not that centrally located but it worked great for us, there are lots of little cafés in TriBeCa nearby and...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in October. Suites were large and spacious which is so unusual for new york. Plenty of choice for breakfast, the breakfast area seemed to be constantly packed. Good value for money but thats probably due to the location. Not a great location for sightseeing in new york or for getting to subways etc...

The prince was excellent at less than $200 per night for a suite in NYC during the holidays. Room was clean and quiet. The hotel is a little isolated, and the distance to the subway was a little inconvenient (about 5 blocks) but the price made up for these issues. The breakfast was a cattle call but with kids it...

We got a superb deal on this hotel via Hotwire, but unfortunately it is going to close for renovations and become part of a more expensive chain. That's too bad, because there was a lot to like here and it will now surely become too pricey. The location is a bit away from the subway and key sites, but the...

We prefer to stay in Embassy Suites when possible with 3 teenage boys, but this is the best. It is near the World Trade Center area but a short walk to several different subway stops. It's location is overlooking (sort of) the Hudson River. You can see it from the interior balconies, but not from your room. There is a...

Stayed at the Embassy Suites Dec 10 during the blizzard. Great value for NYC (~$250), especially given that with the whole suite setup and pull out couch you can sleep 4 comfortably. Breakfast is free, and a short hop to the subway and whole foods. If you're looking for action, it's not really in the center of it but if...

My wife and I, together with our 5 year old daughter are currently one week into a 14 day stay at this hotel. The hotel in general is fairly good and we have stayed at many Hilton affiliated hotels around the world. The staff are professional and friendly and offer good service. The rooms are spacious, neat, well appointed and...

We spent 3 nights prior to Christmas at the Embassy Suites. With the complimentary full breakfast and manager's reception, we saved a lot of money. I thought the location may be a bit out of the way, but being close enought to walk to Tribeca and Soho for shopping was terrific, and also enjoyed beautiful river views. We also visited...

I took my three kids to see NYC the week before Thanksgiving. This hotel was a terrific bargain for the four of us. The suite had a living room with TV dining table, microwave, sleep sofa and chairs, plus a large bedroom with two beds. IT was ample space for the four of us. The room view was just of...
