The Mondrian Soho is ideally located,in the heart of Soho, but on a side street with much less noise.Entryway and lobby inviting with a cool, chic sparse decor.Check-in upstairs, from entering to check-in,entire process seamless. The rooms exude style and while a tad tight, are efficiently laid out, including I Pads in each room.Bathrooms had a good strong shower and lots of room for toiletries,a plus...

This hotel is the latest from the Morgan group, my favorite hotel group worldwide. When they offered a special deal in advance of theng, I booked it for a New York business trip. The neighborhood is great, once you find the hotel--close to the corner of Howard and Crosby, or one block north of Lafayette and Canal Street. We...

My wife arrived one night ahead of me for a three night stay. At 4am, she was awakened by someone who had just checked in and been given a key to our room! Luckily she had the safety latch locked. She called the front desk and they said it was a 'glitch.' They were totally unapologetic and unconcerned. That is...

Dear Mailtruck, Thank you for your candid feedback about your Mondrian experience. I would like to first address your security concerns because I want you to know how seriously we consider them. The information you shared with our Front Desk management was communicated to our security department who launched an investigation, the details of which I can certainly provide for... more

This hotel does not meet any expectations of a top hotel and ruined our NYC experience. Below is truncated list of our issues after our week long stay at the hotel: 1. Rooms are not sound proof; nearby construction kept us up all night and the front desk were unable to solve the problem for over 2.5 hours despite numerous...

I usually stay in the Meatpacking District near my office but I wanted to try the new Mondrian Soho as they have fun properties elsewhere. I called to make my reservation as their booking system wasn't working and I was arriving on a redeye and wanted to have a room ready that morning. They didn't note that properly and cancelled...

Dear JWOODLEE, While I want to thank you for taking the time to provide us your feedback, I think it is important to mention that your reservation was made at our sister property Hudson. Whether this was an error on the part of our combined reservations department, a reservation at Hudson was held for your next day arrival as per... more

Stayed here for 4 nights in april, business trip. The rooms are clean, comfortable and silent. We got a room on the 21st floor - you can have a shower with a beautiful view of NY from the large window in the bathroom. There was an iPad in the room, providing information and concierge services. Service was great, from the...

Thisd in February and the rooms are terrible. Very small desk, very small sink counter. You can tell the rooms were cheaply put together with cheap wood trim and cheap closet door. Desk is very small, almost not big enough for my small computer. You have order ice from room service, which took 30-40 minutes everytime and one time...

Booked a 4 night stay with my friend with an introductory rate..(softng) We were not sure what to expect but we were so impressed with the location, the staff, and the comfy clean room. The room was small but very well equipped with ipad. The staff were always pleasant and very professional and went out of their way to...

CONS: - Very tiny rooms (comparable to the most two star houses in the city, but not the standard of luxus house) - no privacy: sink within the room?? and toilet just seperated from the room by a "kind of closet door". So absolutely no privacy there (really a total planning failure!!) - poor service execution: team is to junior;...

We value the feedback you've provided and have taken the steps to fine-tune the service we provide. Some of the design elements in our hotels are unconventional - most guests let us know that they enjoy this unique approach, such as the sink outside of the restroom in most of our rooms, doubling as a wet bar which is ideal... more

Stayed here for 3 nights during theng period with my husband and 10 month old baby. We had a lovely room on around 15 Floor. I was worried about noise but didn't hear any (just our own adorable screaming baby in the middle of the night!) On arrival we tried to check in but had to wait several hours...

Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to provide feedback. I'm so glad to hear our staff was responsive to the minor difficulties you faced with the iPad and towel rack and our bellmen and concierge were exceptionally helpful! We look forward to welcoming you and your little one back very soon! more
