The Harlem Bed and Breakfast is located on a pretty block in Harlem near subway and bus transportation. We stayed for a wedding nearby and were happy with the excellent customer service and large room. This is not a typical countryside b and b with lace curtains and peach and pear compote French toast for breakfast. But for the price...

We lived here for four nights. This place is great! The room is clean, the neighborhood is quite. We are foreigner tourists, and the housekeeper is so nice that he makes us feel like home. Highly recommend this B&B in Manhattan.

There were pros and cons to Harlem Bed and Breakfast but overall I have to say I was very disappointed after having stayed in many B+Bs in the USA, Canada, the UK and Ireland. This is not a B+B but a hostel and, when this is taken into account, it is very expensive compared to other hostels. Do not expect...

I stayed here from November 3rd to 8th as a solo traveller. I had booked the basic room without the en-suit bathroom, but that room had two double beds and a kitchenette included. The room and bathroom were clean and kept clean every day of my stay. I had wondered if the shared bathroom would have been a bad idea...

The B and B is located on a quiet street. we had a room for five with a bathroom, kitchen area and tables and chairs. The room was cleaned every day and and we had plenty of clean towels for the five of us. The staff were all really helpful, especially Scott we gave us some tips about being a...

This is a HOSTEL, people! Traveling European 20somethings sitting on the stoop smoking; Ikea-style furnished rooms with cheap beds and a shared, not very clean bathrooms for which you will have to wait and wait and wait to use; noisy parties in the backyard til all hours; dusty ACs that will make you sneeze all night; a cheap refrigerator in...

The Harlem Bed & Breakfast is as good as the website promises (and that's a compliment!). Clean, comfortable beds, large and nicely decorated rooms and quality breakfast. It has a very homely atmosphere, I like it. Scott is really into delivering good service, and it works. He didn't mind printing our boarding passes, for instance. It's easy to reach too:...

We stayed at the Harlem B&B after becoming stranded in NYC due to the volcanic ash cloud. It was a struggle to find somewhere to stay in Manhattan at such short notice, but Scott managed to squeeze us in and couldn't have been more accommodating. Our room was spacious, clean and very homely. We had free wifi and were provided...

It was just like having our own little apartment . You would be crazy not to stay here if there is availability. The neighborhood is great and the people are friendly. A 5 minute walk to the subway station and from there, the city is yours to discover. A great breakfast of superb pastries was a great way to start...
