Booked a room here very last minute during Fleet Week and was able to get one of the best room rates in the city. From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel, we felt so welcomed and important. The GM Colin went out of his way to help us and make sure our one night here was perfect. The...

Booked a room for my relatives here last year. The receptionists were very nice and friendly. Room was clean with its own kitchen. Downstairs bar may have been a bit noisy, but this is NYC, after all haha.

For us, this was a home away from home and we would readily stay there again. The staff was very, very helpful in coordinating our check-in and check-out, since the logistics are always difficult when travelling with young children. We stayed in room 502 - two bedroom suite (upgraded from 1 bedroom).
My wife was in for a tradeshow and...

We stayed there from April 16th till April 25th 2011 . We were four adults at all ( my three grown up son and daughters and myself, in two different rooms : room 203, really big room with two king size beds, and 202, nice...

Can't offer enough superlatives about The French Quarters Guest Apartments. The hotel is located in a very convenient and lively area on restaurant row. When we arrived, the very friendly front desk person told us that management had upgraded our room—completely unsolicited—to a suite, since we were traveling with two small children! The accommodations were great: the suite had a...

I recently took my kids to NYC for spring break and stayed at the French Quarters at the recommendation of a friend. It was a great place to stay. It is located on a relatively quiet street about four blocks from Times Square and a very convenient subway station. The hotel was charming with nice rooms, comfortable beds and small...

My daughter and I just returned from a three day stay in NYC where our purpose was to see 4 Broadway shows, celebrate my daughter's birthday, and see friends. I have been to NY often and have always avoided midtown---none of the hotels in that area ever sounded appealing to me. But when I read about the FQGA on Trip...

I found this hotel on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. We stayed in Room 502, two bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, sofa bed in living area), one bath and were perfectly comfortable. There was not much extra space, but we did not mind. We were in NYC to see the sights, not hang in the room. Colin, the GM was...

Friendly, helpful, clean, well equipped, in a great position and highly recommended.
OK, the smallest rooms with one double bed are a lttle tight - but hey, we didn't want to play football.
Oh - and as mentioned by others, it can be noisy.
The fact is the hotel sits above, and is part of, the same business as Bourbon...

This was an outstanding find for us. From the moment we walked through the door until our departure we received outstanding treatment from the staff. Our room was nicely decorated, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean, modern and well equipped. The location was perfect. Located on "Restaurant Row" there is an endless list of options ranging...
