It's always a bit of a gamble booking a budget hotel at a distance but Hotel 31 lived right up to all the good reviews it has received on Trip Advisor. We had an en suite room for seven nights and it was all you could want. . Cosy and comfotable it just seemed to epiomise the New York experience....

Just about to check out of hotel 31 :(. We have once again had a wonderful experience here.last time we stayed we had our own bathroom but this time we were sharing and it was no problem at all! Spotless always and not any signs of bed bugs etc would stay here again.excelent location

This hotel is in a great location and is within walking diatance to time square and good value for new york BUT its like going into a time machine and arriving in 50's new york..decor...size...and the wallpaper!!!...very old lift....old style but some wud like it.Front desk was poor and little help....poor custmer skills.
