On balance, between price, location and comfort, the Seton Hotel delivered exactly what I was seeking. I was appalled to find what most hotels were charging in the city; for just over $100 a night, the Seton delivered a beautiful room, a spotless, modern bathroom and close proximity to the city centre, Grand Central Station, etc. Staying on level 4,...

The location is perfect, close to Grand Central and other places in Manhattan. However, the hotel itself is very basic, shared bathroom looks really old and not so nice to shower at.

We booked a week in NYC (second time weve been) and booked a package through Expedia. Our options prior to going were either a private or shared bathroom, we had no option on a new or old room. We got to hotel and were given room on the second floor, the corridor leading to our room was the same as...

We booked this hotel (after some trepidation on my part!) and decided to go for one of the newly renovated rooms, following some scare stories on tripadvisor. When we arrived I was pleasantly surprised, the staff we very friendly and informed us we'd been booked into their best new room (they were clearly very proud of the refurb). The room...

A friend suggested I try the Seton. Although the hotel is undergoing renovation, the new rooms are the best deal in town. These rooms are pristine and have a very European feel; both pretty and practical. It is also in a great location. Don't be put off by the lobby, be patient and you will be rewarded.

Decided last minute to go to NY with our kids. The Seton was recommended by a friend as a reasonably priced, small hotel in an excellent location. This is true..and more. We stayed in a newly renovated room that was just gorgeous...comfy beds, beautiful bathroom, and tasteful decor. On top of this, the owner and front desk staff couldn't have...

The hotel is located in a very central location, on 42nd Street near Grand Central Station and Times Square. The staff was friendly but the hotel facilities are horrific! The room we stayed in was old and no remodeling, that if I had bathroom inside the room. The toilet on the one hand, the bath and sink another elsewhere. We...

Please avoid like the plague. I say this honestly as a traveller that does not require much only cleanliness and safety. I have stayed in numerous hostels and never complained. I booked as i heard the place was renovated but found out only top floors were and we were on a low floor. It was dirty, grubby and i would...

I recently stayed at the Seton hotel while traveling to tend to some business in New York. I was very impressed with the management of this property and the way that they conducted their business. Running a hotel cannot be an easy task especially when you are undergoing a renovation. I wanted to thank everyone who made my stay extremly...

This hotel was perfect for what I paid for it, it was great free wi-fi and free coffee and tea was a plus, the lounge was nice with good sun and all of the staff was really kind and helpful. It was great when checking out they allowed me to secure my bag in their bag room until my cab...
