I wanted to stay at The GEMHotel in Chelsea, but the GEMHotel-Midtown West was a bit cheaper. It's within a ten-minute walk to Penn Station/Madison Square Gardens. We had used 1800hotels who recommended this hotel for 2 single travels. Instead on the 2 beds reserved we were given a tiny room with one bed and no room for a cot (which they didn't have anyway).
