I have stayed here a couple of times. This hotel is one of the trendiest in Soho. Don't be surprised if you see a celebrity or paparazzi outside waiting for one. The reception is nice and the service is good. The normal cost per night is 500 plus which is a little expensive. The hotel is in a great spot...

We stayed at the Mercer after spending 2 nights at the Greenwich hotel (Tribeca – see my review). There’s no doubt about it, the Mercer is the place to stay and be seen if you’re in Soho however given the cost and the status of the hotel I think I expected more at times. One example was that I was...

Stayed at the Mercer last night and it was incredible. When we first arrived, the refreshing scent of candles fill the lobby and the reception desk is very friendly and helpful. I mentioned that I loved the smell of the candles in the lobby and they sent up 4 candles to my room complimentary ! The vibe is very chic...

I stayed at the Mercer at friends' recommendations because "their concierges can get you into any place in New York". Although that may be a bit of an exaggeration, the entire staff - save for the restaurant - is very helpful and will go to great lengths to get you what you want. And the best: really spacious rooms. In...

I'm sorry but it is still best damn hotel in NYC. The staff, the lobby, the rooms - impeccable. We stay whenever we come into the city and bring my folks, who love the hotel and eyeballing the celebs in the lobby. I just find it a relaxing place to stay because it's not stuffed or pretentious and the staff...

The deluxe studio is elegant, comfortable, roomy. Lovely light and windows. The staff went out of their way to help us and couldn't have been kinder and more creative and responsive and generous.

It did it for me. No complaints. I will be back. Yes lets face it NYC is expensive, this place is nit cheap, you get what you pay for most of the time. This is hip, trendy, cozy, romantic and more.
