Ok, so what has been said about this room previously is correct, the rooms are small - tiny. But aside from that and sometimes a weird smell in the lobby & lift, there is nothing else negative that I could say about this hotel. The location is fabulous, easy walking distance to shopping in Soho, surrounded by great restaurants of...

All the previous reviews are correct- the rooms are 'cool' but tiny and hotel offers no creature comforts; bathroom (nothing beyond soap & shampoo etc, paper cups), very basic breakfast (on paper plates), we took our own bags up etc.
However the hotel was the best value I could find in the area. The subway is metres away, round the...

While he location of the hotel is great and he complimentary breakfast was good, the room was the smallest I have ever stayed in (and I am 60+). Glad it was just me:) I paid almost $300/night, inluding the $50/night room tax. For the price, would look elsewhere. Can hear anyone in the hall and every door which is closed.slammed!...

I must start this review by saying that the hotel looks lovely and has that boutique feel about it, but from a practical point of view it is a terrible hotel if you are traveling with large suitcases and are staying a long time.
We had a room on the third floor in the very corner of the building. We...

I was a bit nervous about booking here, but all my doubts were put to rest as soon as we arrived. The hotel is terrific. Clean, Clean and Clean. I was paranoid about bed bugs, but there were none. The rooms are small, but who cares? You are in New York!! I didn't like the see through bathroom wall though....

The hotel location is excellent especially if you like to visit Chinatown, Little Italy, Soho, Greenwich Village and etc. There were also good bars and restaurants very near. Didn't feel unsafe or anything like that by the surrounding area. Subway was around the corner and the excellent Katz's Deli. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast which...

This hotel was exceptional value. I went to New York with my mom for 4 nights in February and had a wonderful experience. The staff are polite and accommodating. The hotel was very clean (no bed begs). The location is GREAT. Close to many bars and restaurants, tons with great happy hours. Also a lot of fashion shops in the...

The East Houston Hotel is all you need for a short stay in the city. Clean, nice staff, excellent price, subway 50m away, lot's of bars and restaurants in walking distance, aroundthe corner from SoHo and in the midst of the East Village. The rooms are not that big, but hey this is NYC. To NYC standards they ARE more...

Everything about this hotel was excellent. If you want a perfect hotel with a perfect location down town THIS is it. The rooms were very clean and...
