Katelyn gets all the press but I would take our entire Guest Services staff over any other in Topeka! Thank you for the review and we hope to be of service to you again.

My wife and I were there in January 2011 and were very happy with the hotel.It is near downtown and the state capitol.Be sure to ask for a tower room which is the newest of the hotel.

Because I read soo many good reviews I had high expectations but unfortuantely this hotel could not deliver for me. Though the rooms were nice, the bed was very uncomfortable. Service and beds were great. Breakfast was good if you are a meat eater. I'm a vegetarian so the breakfast lacked fresh juice and the fruit was frozen (apples) most of the time. 1 person found this review helpful Stayed for two weeks - accommodation was very comfortable and staff were really helpful. The hotel hosts multiple conferences and events so there's always something going on at the hotel which makes it really easy to meet people. For example, the Rotary club have their meeting there every Thursday lunchtime which attracts over 100 local business and government people.

This review is obviosly written by someone that works in the travel and tourism industry in Kansas City. If you read their profile, the continuously slander Topeka area hotels and restaurants while calling Kansas City places "THE BEST EVER". This review has been disputed along with other reviews by this person about their, "experiences" in Topeka.
