Right from the time we got there everyone was wonderful. We arrived like 4 hours early and they still let us check in. the ppl at the front desk were very professional and friendly. THis a great break from the run-of-the-mill national chains. The setting is in the city, but secluded, with a rapid river flowing through the grounds. Their jacuzzi and pool are really great. Good food too, all at a reasonable price.

We happen to agree with this traveler. We are nothing like the traditional chain hotels. This location was chosen 40 years ago for its uniqueness. Very scenic with great views from many rooms, restaurants and lounges.

We were leery about staying here after reading the reviews but found it a pleasant experience. We requested king, smoking, and although it was a busy hallway, the security made sure that the door was closed leading to the nightclub and there wasn't anyone lingering in the hallways. Thank you for the review. All it takes is one interaction with a rude staff member to ruin a guest stay. The key to all guest satisfaction is how well the staff interacts with the customer. When a staff member is rude their is no excuse for it.

I can't say enough about The Woodlands Inn & Resort. Ross (mgr) and the rest of the staff were great and very professional. A beautiful & very clean facility. Felt very much at home. We enjoyed our stay. I would highly this establishment.

Our hotel is a nice refuge from the average franchised business hotel that you see in most markets. Our rooms are comfortable and clean, views from the restaurant and bars are inviting and the amenities are second to none.

Just came back from four nights at the Woodlands Inn. Not sure what to make of it. I like it, but it's an oddly shaped hotel. Thank you for the review. We are a business hotel midweek and just the opposite on weekends. Our bar, nightclub and banquest business attracts many out of town visitors to our hotel. If fun is what you're looking for, look no further.

We certainly wish you had more luck on your trip. It's all about customer service, it doesn't cost any more to do the little things that guests remember. Driving to the hospital, getting ice or mailing clothing after departure. These are the little things that matter, show the customer you actually care about them.

The Woodlands was a great overnight getaway for my husband and I and our friends. We enjoyed drink specials at happy hour then took the shuttle to the Mohegan Sun casino where we took advantage of the coupons provided to us by The Woodlands. After getting back to The Woodlands we danced in both the nightclub and the bar downstairs....
