My Boyfriend and I were looking for a relaxing weekend away and decided to try a Bed & Breakfast instead of a hotel, and we're happy we did! The cozy atmosphere set the tone for the weekend. Clean, welcoming room. Loved the decor. The host and breakfast we're excellent. We will be back in the summer to take a walk...

We arrived during the first snowfall of the season and were greeted by lanterns outside and a roaring fire inside. Al was a friendly, informative and welcoming host. We stayed in the Wine Cellar room and it was beautiful. Everything was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated with a wonderful country home charm. The bed was extremely comfortable. There was several...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights at the end of harvest season for the Grand Pre Winery (October 2010). We couldn't have asked for more beautiful scenery to compliment our outstanding experience at the Old Lantern Inn. We were lucky enough to be staying in the "Wine Cellar" room (The best of the five in our opinion...

Greeted with andoor, friendly face and a toasty fire blazing when we arrived. Al showed us to our room ,L'Acadie Blanc.. The view was wonderful overlooking the vineyard. The L'Acadie Blanc is the smallest room but cozy with a great bed. Beware of the beams as I nearly knocked myself out on one! Loved the jacuzzi after hiking...

We arrived to lanterns lit with candles throughout the outside property and lighting a path through the vineyard to the winery and restaurant next door. It was a chilly day and there was a fire in the fireplace in the main room. Our room was beautifully decorated with wood beam ceilings, large enough to have a comfortable sitting area and...

Stayed at the Olde Lantern Inn and Vineyard one night and left. Very unhappy with the hard bed, crumpled mis-matched linen, awkward shower, too early breakfast call: 7:30 am. The owner rushed everyone out after a somewhat plain breakfast. B&B in an old house that needs work; path to front door ill-kept and dangerous after dark; very poor lighting outside.

A welcoming host, lovely accommodations, terrific breakfast, beautifully situated next to a vineyard with a wonderful restaurant.......who could ask for anything more? Wish we could have stayed longer.

This has to be one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in. The host Al makes you feel right at home. We stayed in the Vineyard room it's full of character, it's clean & has plenty of space. The name of the room might have given it away, the location of the Olde Lantern Inn is in a...

The Old Lantern Inn is one of the most wonderful places that we have every stayed. No detail is left to chance - the location is amazing, the rooms are well furnished and extremely comfy, the breakfast is incredible, and Alan is the most excellent host. We loved being able to walk to Le Caveau for dinner and we felt...

My wife and have never bothered to write reviews for the hotels, B&Bs and the like, though we often use reviews of others to help plan our trips. Happily our quid pro quo begins with the charming Olde Lantern Inn. We were greeted by Al, the laid back Inn Keeper whose keen eye for design has defined his Inn as...
