I've stayed at the Meadowmere many times, both as a child and as an adult. I take a short walk to the beach with friendly staff, smiles and accommodating staff over an ocean view with staff who are less than friendly. I've been to many resorts/inns in Ogunquit and find the Meadowmere Quality, the reason for my return each time....
