I wanted to go down to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park this weekend to see the wildflowers, but it's so popular that the rates at the place I usually stay (the Palms at Indian Head in Borrego Springs) were too high for my budget. Warner Springs is only about a half hour away from Anza-Borrego, so I decided to stay at...

I don't know what to say about this place where we stayed one night. Everything about it shouts that it should be a very upscale resort-the beautiful grounds, the duplex casitas, the spacious rooms, the beautiful tennis courts, the fireplaces. The mineral pool is 5000 square feet and 103 degrees and I enjoyed it very much. The tennis courts are...

We found this place by accident, we were looking to find lodging in Borrego Springs which was all booked up - this forced us to look in surrounding areas. I'm so glad we did, it was the highlight of our getaway.
You stay in a cottage that shares one common wall, two cottages per building. Each one has a wood...

The staff were deceptive and elusive as to the way the facility operates and charged twice to our account. Upon entering the room it was dirty and the carpet was torn in several places with black smoke residue all over the walls and ceiling. The room heating and cooling units are from 1970 and did not work properly. The mattress sets...

We stayed in a duplex room with working fireplace and sitting area for $124.00 per night on a Saturday night. Everything here needs a facelift, but there is lots of historical and
nostalgic atmosphere. Ranch was established around 1900.. Highlight is two Olympic size pools -- one naturally fed by hot springs springs fed and maintained at about 103 degrees....

We have talked more about this ranch than any other part of our trip to the States - it was just SO quirky. The setting is amazing and the scenery was beautiful. The calet we stayed in was very average and rather outdated. It was spacious enough and everything worked but it certainly hadn't been renovated in a VERY long...

We stayed at Warner Springs Ranch for 1 nights. The location is gorgeus, with the natural springs and the surroundings.
PROS: The hot springs at night were beuiful and the horses well kept.
CONS:The cabin where we stayed was in the old row...and it was indeed showing the age. The heating system was really outdated (and dangerous for an 18-month-old)....

My wife and I stayed here last weekend. After hearing from our friends who live in San Diego for so long about how wonderfully peaceful and serene this place was, we finally decided to visit. It was one of the worst weekends I've ever spent. From arriving to the location and seeing the general unkempt and neglected grounds to the...

After a day of travel from Wisconsin we arrived at The Warner Ranch Resort tired and ready for a rest. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Our cabin had two rooms, three beds and a fireplace and was very clean. The hot spring pools were fantastic. It was one of the most enjoyable parts of a great California family...

The bricks and mortar of the place are good for a rustic, getaway site. The units spacious and clean, though the decor was a bit stark and the rooms and public areas are without personality.
The BIG problem was the lack of knowledgeable staff and communications within the departments. We booked the ranch for the purpose of going horseback riding...
