Old beautiful building, though located just by a busy highway. The stuff is nice, but it's definitely not a 4 star hotel. Quite old sheets, carpets and facilities (TV, shower, etc.), tough towels and very poor breakfast in the morning. Pictures of rooms that we saw at expedia are just misleading! Vacuum cleaning in the corridor started at around 9,...

Dear Guest!
Thank you for sharing us your opinion through the Tripadvisor.com.
We always glad to read comments about our services.
I tried to find out when and in which room you stayed with us, but unfortunatly without knowing your name, it is impossible to find it out.
We have and adjacent building with apartments. Apartments have no star rating,...

Stayed in the Gold Hotel 9-11 March 2011 on a short break to Budapest. The hotel is located in Buda, approx 15 minute walk to Pest ( the busier side of the city). Is a bit of a hill back so public transport is advisable and there is a bus stop 2 minutes walk away
and very cheap and frequent....

I travelled with my mother in September 2010 to Budapest. I had emailed the Gold Hotel Buda prior to our arrival date and they arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport. Our flight was slightly delayed and when we came out of the terminal the taxi driver was waiting for us (he had a sign with our...

This is a lovely little hotel. It is on a main road about 10 minutes walk to the river and over the bridge to the Pest side of the city, and as long as you don't mind that short walk i would say this is a great hotel for you (incidentally you can take the bus from outside a shop...

Gold Buda is located on the Buda side of the city. It is on a main road (tho this didn't cause us any sleep problem & we had the windowmuch of the time). The road leads directly down to one of the main bridges & is about a 15-20 walk to the main part of town, the walk...

I'm writing from it's wifi Internet.
This is not 4* hotel, for sure. I've stayed at apartments with my 2 kids. The room is very cold. When I warn about this to reception the guy come, made some tricks and said that in 15 minutes there will be very warm. In real - the same temperature like outside... Maybe abit...

The apartments are located is an adjacent building and they do not have any star qualifications. These apartments need time to be heated, that is why it is important to book apartments in advance. Walk in guests, who did not make any reservations in advance, can either take warm hotel rooms or they need to be patient to wait till...
