Hotel is in a very hand location, just a few minutes walk from the Danube and in the other direction, near to a metro station and a square where you can get buses. Service friendly. Room decent enough, air con tested to max in recent days of 30 degrees and did ok. Shame the beds are two singles pushed together,...

Lobby and Bar looking poor (old fashioned and "cheap") and somehow worn out Disappointing overall impression on arrival but reception staff ok Lifts in very poor condition Very small bathroom with shower needing repair or cleaning (Room 506) Room ok Excellent breakfast in quality and variety Despite above critics, I would recommend hotel due to excellent location

Enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Budapest City Center. Easy access to food, shopping, and transportation to get around the city. The staff was excellent, from storing bags to getting a cab to the airport for us. The room was clean and no frills which was fine for us, because the location was excellent.

The hotel is centraly located, close to everything, rooms are on the small side but very practical. The breakfast buffet is excelent. The area at night becomes a little seedy, Prostitutes and their promoters approach you constantly to offer you their services.

We were two couples staying in superior rooms and with that we had access to the launch were they served free drinks and canapés, fruit and cakes. The launch and the furnitures were very nice and the view at the shopping street were a bonus. The hotelrooms were very clean and with plenty of space. The bed were comfortable and...

We spent 4 days in Budapest, and the location is great. The hotel was fully booked so we got a corner room for 3, The only problem that we had with the hotel was that we got twin bed and not a double bed. They didn't have any room with double bed, so it wasn't too comfortable. Beside that, it...

lovely hotel, fantastic location, friendly, courteous, efficient staff. The room facilities were great and we enjoyed a beautiful breakfast. We walked in and asked for a room, as the hotel we were staying in nearby was intolerable. we were treated wiyh respect and checked into a room with a minimum of fuss. The staff also organised our airport shuttlebus. nothing was too much trouble,...

There could not be a better place to live in Pest (as in Budapest) with your hotel in middle of Vaci utca. It was full value to money. Just few minutes’ walk from Deák Ferenc tér, the place where all 3 metro lines meet. The location of hotel gives you freedom to travel anywhere , anytime (provided metros are running...

Location is AAA, perfect! It's located in the center of Buda, very close to the river so that every site is walkable. Breakfast is also perfect. Downsites are the small rooms (in our case on the 4th floor), a dirty polyester shower curtain on a very small bathroom. The floors and walls have dirty spots, wallpaper is lose and so...
